Min. Renaldo M. Pearson, ACNP

Executive Minister (C.O.O. & Chief of Staff)

A native of Washington, DC, where he splits his time when he’s not in Summit, New Jersey serving as the new Executive Minister of Fountain Baptist Church, Renaldo M. Pearson, ACNP (Advanced Certified Nonprofit Professional) manages the faith, civic, and social impact strategy consulting portfolio at BlueSKY Collaborative Partners. With 10+ years of experience as a nonprofit executive and consultant, working on large-scale 10-figure capital campaigns, securing 8-figure gifts, and developing strategic marketing, advocacy, and engagement initiatives -- Renaldo has helped mission-driven organizations of all sizes achieve transformational change. His leadership roles and clients have stretched from Morehouse to Harvard (where he served as the youngest college administrator), Democracy Spring to RepresentUs, Get Free to Free Speech TV, and The Multifaith Initiative to End Mass Incarceration to the National Council of Churches.

Renaldo’s honors include having his #EndMassIncarceration Coalition efforts (that pushed the Obama administration to take executive action on criminal justice reform) recognized by Salon.com as 1 of “10 ways the War on Drugs changed forever in 2013”; having his electoral justice and narrative change framework, “The 7 Deadly Sins of American Democracy” (now found at RedeemDemocracy.us) credited by global think tank and government corruption watchdog Transparency International as "a touchstone for thousands of anti-corruption and pro-democracy activists around the country"; earning the 2019 National Citizen Leadership Award (for helping advance critical pro-democracy/anti-corruption legislation nationally); and being featured in Josh Tickell’s book and award-winning film, The Revolution Generation, which premiered in theaters and digital platforms on Earth Day 2022.

Renaldo is a proud 2011 graduate of Morehouse College -- where, as an alumnus, he led the effort to secure President Obama as 2013 commencement speaker; successfully lobbied billionaires like Robert F. Smith to (support "bold ideas...like reverse scholarships to free recent grads of crippling student loan debt" and) begin a new era of progressive philanthropy at Morehouse and other MSIs/HBCUs; co-founded the college's first alumni political action committee (PAC) in 2024; and founded the first alumni chapter in Morehouse College's history to reach 100% alumni giving to the college, after growing the chapter roster by over 1,000%.

He currently resides in Upper Marlboro, MD (Prince George's County) with his wife (NBC4 Washington's Emmy-Nominated Meteorologist Jessica Faith) and serves on the boards of Free Speech TV (the only independent/non-corporate/non-profit national progressive news network in 60-million homes) and Get Free (the youth-led movement to repair past harms, remove ongoing barriers to equality, and realize a future where freedom is for all).
